1998.\u00a0 She practiced law with the Morman Law Firm until 2014, at which time she became in-house legal counsel at Pennington Title.\u00a0 Candi started Thomson Law, PC in 2016 and enjoys working with residents of Sturgis, Meade County and the surrounding Black Hills area.\n\nCandi has focused her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, real estate transactions and business formation.\u00a0 Early in her career, Candi was fortunate to have Keith Smit as a mentor, and she later shared an office with Dale Hansen.\u00a0 Keith and Dale were exceptional attorneys who generously shared their many years of experience and wisdom.\u00a0 Candi takes pride in continuing to provide the community with respected, professional legal services.\n\nCandi is a graduate of South Dakota State University earning a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Sociology with minors in Criminal Justice and Spanish, and of the University of South Dakota After a little break from the legal field working in the title industry, Denise returned to work as a paralegal for Thomson Law in 2017.<br \/>Denise grew up in Sturgis and continues to call Sturgis home.
